An Engineering meeting of the OC Engineering club,
was held on Febuary 6th, 2020. The meeting convened at 3pm, in the library basement, room 001.
President Raymond Simpson presiding, Dylan Jensen, vice president, and Joel Martin(Congress Representative).
==Members in attendance==
Raymond Simpson, Yuval Martin, Dylan Jensen, Joel Martin, Naomi-Lynn Miller, Kevin Richardson, Jess
==Old business==
===Advertising/Recruitment===
*Raymond asked Naydene, Director of Tutoring at OC, about advertising the RobotX program and the Engineering Club in the tutoring center. Results discussed in New Business
===Business Cards===
*Are still on the list to be acquired
===Club Logo===
*Still needs to be designed
*An art student needs to be recruited.
===Current EE Club Project: Holonomic Drive Robot===
*Team Members discussed design implementation and ideas both in meeting and outside of meeting
===Dean Communication===
*Appointment with Dean of MESH was requested, will likely have occurred by next meeting
*Appointment is to discuss the legality of raising funds independently of the SGOC due to scope of RobotX project

===Introduction of New Members to RobotX Project===
*RobotX project scope, overview, wiki. and benefits was presented to new member Kevin Richardson
===Acquisition of New Meeting Room===
*SGOC is responsible for assigning rooms to clubs, will need to discuss at next Club Congress, dated for Tuesday, 28th of January
*Need room to be able to handle planned members, and also to securely store large amounts of valuable materials necessary for the RobotX project.
===Recruitment Efforts in Tutoring Center===
*Naydene, Director of Tutoring, approved us for putting flyers and posters in the tutoring center, but no usage of the whiteboards in the room as originally planned
===Positions in Club===
*Brief discussion of the future need for a Treasurer and a Property Manager
==Next Meeting==
*Next meeting planned for 2 weeks.
==Approval of minutes==
Motion was made by Raymond Simpson, and seconded to approve the minutes of the 06FEB2020 meeting. Motion carried.
==Adjournment==
The meeting was officially adjourned at 1600.
